We formed our regional alliance
in 1997 as a proactive response to the rapidly changing health
insurance market and federal/state legislation.
Our joint effort helps local
residents in the region retain the ability to choose their
local doctors and hospitals for their health care needs,
despite restrictions often imposed by insurance plans. By
uniting the medical communities of Llano, Fredericksburg and
Kerrville, our alliance works together as a team, pooling
resources, to better survive the ever-changing managed care
environment. Serving twelve (12) rural counties in the Texas
Hill Country, GHCHA healthcare providers have taken the
initiative to maintain and enhance a
regional delivery of health care ... from a true community
approach.
